MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  1. 5 + years risk management or safety department experience. 
  2. Candidate must possess working knowledge of DOT guidelines, OSHA compliance, hazardous material handling and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
  3. Ability to travel with minimal notice (approximately 40% travel)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related area.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in a safety related field of motor transportation.
  3. Obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Within 90 days of hire.
  4. Five (5) years of experience in local, state, or federal law enforcement.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Routinely uses security equipment such as monitors and cameras. Occasional work in terminal and shop floors being exposed to heat and cold.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
