JOB SUMMARY

 

Responsible for using a strong administrative skillset, coupled with data analysis, and an understanding of the ELD software platform. Effective communication skills to interact with field operations in gathering data. Support the functions of the Driver Accountability Team through various tasks and duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform clerical/administrative assignments in accordance with established procedures and under general instruction.
  2. General understanding of the FMCSA ELD federal mandate.
  3. Ensure documentation accuracy.
  4. Maintain files and records in accordance with internal procedures.
  5. Provide support to the Performance Accountability & Change Assurance Team as needed.
  6. Provide support to the Driver Accountability Team as needed.
  7. Ability to work in multiple software applications to identify resolution of driver events.
  8. Compose and edit general correspondence, reports, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  3. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new processes; ability to quickly understand general concepts for various projects.
  5. Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Excel.
  7. Ability to type with speed and accuracy.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Prior customer service experience.
  2. Freight or freight related industry experience.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
