Position Summary:

 

Process work order and invoices for the maintenance facility.

 

Position Duties: 

  1. Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies.
  2. Sort and file invoices and work orders.
  3. Store, file and organize items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  4. Process incoming requisitions, work orders and other paper work and issue and/or distribute accordingly.
  5. Maintain records of orders and the amounts, find and locate parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system.
  6. Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
  7. Advice customers or internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
  9. Advise manager of internal use on appropriateness of parts, invoices work orders and or supplies for facility.


Competencies / Requirements: 

  • Completion of secondary school education required.
  • Computer skills required – MS Office (Word and Excel) and Transman Maintenance System.
  • Knowledge/experience in the transport industry and maintenance.
  • Ability to lift 23kg

Working Conditions: 

  • Work primarily within the Winnipeg Shop. Work schedule may vary base on the business meeds.
