MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree or education and experience working in an LTL operations environment.
  2. Five (5) years or more field experience with safety as a primary responsibility.
  3. Strong communication skills to receive and convey information effectively: oral and written comprehension and expression.
  4. High level of motivation, ability to efficiently work with little supervision, effective multi-tasking and prioritizing skills, and ability to positively influence others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Professional credentials and certification a plus.
  2. Prior experience as CDL Driver or Trainer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This position operates primarily in a field operations environment with varying weather conditions and fluctuating shift coverage.  Routinely uses standard office equipment, cell phones, computer technology, and regulatory websites.  Ability to travel, by various methods, is required 50% - 75% of the time.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
